@webster936 You sound like a teacher, so you probably can’t do math so hear it is -say 10,000 dollars or 1,000,000 pennies are the gasses in the earth’s atmophere. the US man made contribution of CO2 is under 4 pennies. man made CO2 in the world is 20 Pennies. Natural earth CO2 is $3.84 of the $10,000. Get real! The oxygen we breathe comes from CO2 through plants. It is you that are spreading lies. We have NO part in climate change.

I sure didn’t sigh of relief when people started talking about climate change. I got anxious. More bureaucrats controlling my life. I refuse to recycle when it is poor for the economy and it wastes my time.

The part about trashing the world and not even having fun really gets my attention.. Since I want to have fun, and want others to have fun as well, we have to have a comprehensive plan to stop the damage and repair the damage that has already been done. No easy answers. It will take all of us. We can either be part of the problem; or part of the solution.

Well put together and spot on with reality. The only change I would make is to remove statements about how the Earth is in danger. The planet is fine. The planet will orbit the Sun for another 4 to 5 billion years with or without humans.
Humans are fragile. We can’t live on 2/3 of the planet because we need oxygen, not water. We are killing us, and many species, with our pollution. Either we change, or we disappear. It’s that simple.

Great Video. Whether we have anything to do with climate change or not, it seems crazy not to clean up our act.. our pollution. Let’s say our air, water, noise pollution does not effect the climate, do we really want to live with all that yuckiness? And, the notion that businesses can sell their carbon credit ’cause they are NOT polluting is weird to me. Very weird.

Cap and Trade is a job killing bill. You want to know how to become energy independent and create jobs doing it. Get rid of the Department of Energy. Get the Fed out of it and let the free market on there own invest into Nuclear,Geothermal,and other technologies. Also bring back property rights so people can drill on there land and that will get us off it. Also Cap and Tax will hurt us,because it makes it harder for small business to run and motivates factories to leave the US.

I agree, this sounds like a crock of shit, but the free market can’t run properly when banking is corrupt. Look up fractiona reserve banking and the federal reserve/central banking practices.
If we create money with interest, we’ll nevr have enough money in circulation to pay back our debt tothis created money, meaning our debt always grows, ever enslaving future generations

Would forcing big …
Would forcing big companies to pay for permits possibly eliminate them? Then we’d be back on farms.
I agree that offsetting could have some problems, but there has to be a way to standardize/regulate it.
We do need to turn more and more to alternative energy sources but we can’t hadicap the foundations of our current way if life before we get there. Unless… back to nature anyone?

Man-made climate change is real-the reason you’re just hearing of it is that the effects of oil & coal burning over 2-3 centuries has finally accumulated enough pollution to cause danger to the climate. Before that, there weren’t enough people or burning of coal & oil. Now we are adding tons of carbon to the air & water every day. We can’t do it much longer without tipping the balance in the environment to endanger the ability of the planet to sustain life.
