What steps can be taken to keep a company from selling on the internet?
What steps can be taken legally to remove a company from the internet? I have tried the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission. The company advertises falsely, sends out faulty equipment, and has well over 100 BBB complaints that aren’t rectified because the company doesn’t respond. There must be something that can be done to keep people from getting taken advantage of.
If it’s across state lines, call the Justice Dept or F.B.I. maybe they can at least get the website shut down but they’ll just move the another URL if that’s what there gonna do.
I would suggest doing a viral campaigne, like a youtube video, forums, facebook and here. People buying stuff tend to search for reviews before they buy something online. Give them a bad reputation online and sales might go down and maybe they will change their wicked ways.
